Tip: Print Shop Managers may need to change a User’s name (e.g., when someone gets married) within PSP when using Directory Integration.  To change a User’s name please follow the steps outlined below. 

How to change a User’s name within PSP when using using Directory Integration-KB Article # 54545 

Turn ON the following setting: 

  • Admin > Website > Owner Configuration
  • CTRL F “Allow Changing User Names of Directory User’s”

 Locate the New User’s Username 

  • User Management
  • Locate the new User
  • Select the Username
  • Edit the Username by appending “DUPE” to the end
  • Select Update
  • Uncheck the box in the Active column to deactivate the new User

 Locate the Old User’s Username

  • User Management
  • Locate the new User
  • Select the Username
  • Edit the Username to the NEW Username
  • Select Update 

Update the Old User Contact to the NEW User Contact name 

  • Go to Website > Contacts
  • Locate the Old contact and select
  • Edit the last name to the NEW name 

Turn OFF the following setting: 

  • Website > Owner Configuration
  • Allow Changing User Names of Directory Users
