edu attended the annual In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association Conference held in Louisville, Kentucky in June. IPMA brings in-plant print shops together and provides an excellent networking opportunity for in-plants from a variety of industries. Attendees were able to get a glimpse of Print Shop Pro® and Design Conductor® at the conference. edu also had an opportunity to introduce their new campus mail and package tracking system, Smart Track Pro to attendees.

IPMA started the week off with the 2019 In-Print Awards Ceremony. Several Print Shop Pro® customers received awards at the awards ceremony. Jimmy Robinson from University of West Alabama was awarded Gold for Best Non-Offset Brochure. Mike O’Hara, Chris Anderson and Chris Strohn from Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators took home the Gold award for Best Non-Offset Flyer and Bronze for Non-Offset Booklet.  One of our newest customers, Lansing Board of Water & Light, took home the Silver award for their Non-Offset Flyer.

Attendees were provided with a tour of Churchill Downs, the home of the Kentucky Derby. Attendees also toured Preferred Marketing Solutions, Papa John’s print shop and dough production facility. Attendees were also able to visit the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, Muhammad Ali Center, Fourth Street Live entertainment and retail complex, and the local Kentucky bourbon distilleries.

We look forward to next year’s IPMA Conference which will be held in Fort Myers, Florida.
